When a Same-Day Sick Visit Makes Sense
A sick visit is a good fit for illnesses and minor injuries that need attention now rather than at a routine appointment weeks away. Patients come to us for things like:
- Colds and flu symptoms
- Sore throats
- Sinus infections and ear infections
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Minor injuries from a fall or other sudden event
- A flare-up of an ongoing condition

What Happens at Your Visit
We’ll start with a quick intake, then your provider will do a focused exam based on your symptoms. If you need tests or imaging, we’ll order them. You’ll leave with a treatment plan the same day, including prescriptions if you need them.
We take a patient-centered approach to every visit, even the quick ones. That means listening to what’s going on, explaining what we find, and making the plan with you. If you need a note for missed class or work, just ask and we can provide documentation.

The fastest way to get seen is to call or text us at (352) 234-3050 to check same-day availability. We recommend reaching out before you come so we can get you in as quickly as possible. Walk-ins are welcome as scheduling allows.

Can’t make it in? We offer telehealth visits for eligible appointment types, by secure video or phone call. It works well for minor illnesses, check-ins and follow-ups.
Hours, Insurance and What to Bring
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday.
We accept most major insurance plans in the area. Give us a call to confirm your plan is in network. When you come in, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card.
