When to Come In
A sick visit makes sense for colds, flu symptoms, sore throat, sinus infections, ear infections, minor injuries, UTIs, and other illnesses that need attention now rather than a scheduled follow-up appointment. If you’re not sure whether your symptoms need a same-day visit or can wait, our front desk can help you decide when you call.
What to Expect
We’ll do a quick intake, a focused exam based on your symptoms, and get you a treatment plan the same day — including prescriptions if needed. Most sick visits take less than 30 minutes from check-in to walking out.
Convenient for Students and Staff
Our clinic at 817 NW 56th Terrace, Suite B is a short drive from campus. We accept most major insurance plans and can provide documentation for class or work absences if you need it. Same-day visits also work well if you’re new to Gainesville and don’t have an established primary care provider yet — you can always transition to regular care with us afterward.
