Synergy Medical Group is currently welcoming new patients of all ages at our clinic on NW 56th Terrace, close to UF. Whether you’re new to town, switching providers, or haven’t had a regular doctor in a while, we’d love to meet you.

We offer a full range of primary care, from routine check-ups and sick visits to ongoing support for chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. Our services include:

  • Annual exams and routine check-ups
  • Preventive care, including health screenings and vaccinations
  • Same-day sick visits for urgent, non-emergency needs
  • Chronic disease management with a personalized care plan
  • Women’s health services, including routine screenings
  • School and sports physicals
  • Minor skin procedures, like skin exams, lesion biopsies and skin tag removal
  • In-house lab draws, so testing happens in the same place
  • Telehealth visits for eligible appointment types

We see children, teens, adults and seniors.

Meet Your Primary Care Team

Synergy Medical Group was founded by Dr. Stefan Mann, a board-certified family medicine physician. At our Gainesville clinic, you can book with either of our nurse practitioners:

  • Leeanne Odum, APRN, who started her career as a CNA and worked her way up as an LPN and RN before becoming a nurse practitioner. She’s our Regional Clinical Director for Gainesville.
  • Christian Collins, APRN, who completed his advanced clinical training right here at Synergy.

You get to choose your provider. We encourage you to pick the one you feel most comfortable with.

Getting Started With a Primary Care Doctor Accepting New Patients in Gainesville

Getting started takes just a few steps:

  1. Book your first visit. Schedule online on our scheduling page or call (352) 234-3050.
  2. Check your coverage. We accept most major insurance plans in the area. Give us a call to confirm your plan is in network. Our staff is happy to help with insurance questions.
  3. Bring a few things. Please bring your photo ID, your insurance card and a list of your current medications.

At your first appointment, your provider will review your health history, ask about your goals, and work with you on a care plan that fits your life. You’ll always be part of the decisions about your care.

Office Hours and Staying in Touch

We’re open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday.

Once you’re a patient, it’s simple to reach us. Need a prescription refill? Just call or text our office and we’ll take care of it right away. Feeling sick? Call or text, and we’ll work to get you in the same day.
